What we do.

The energy transition is not an abstract environmental issue: it is a concrete opportunity for territorial development, income for landowners, autonomy for energy consumers. But it must be done well, respecting the landscape, involving communities, guaranteeing economic returns to partners.

2BFS develops and co-develops RES initiatives (Renewable Energy Sources) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). Our role can be that of pure developer (we bring the initiative to authorization), co-investor (we enter the capital of the initiative), or both.

Who we work for.

  • Owners of agricultural or industrial land suitable for RES plants
  • Agricultural companies interested in agrivoltaics
  • Municipalities and local authorities for renewable energy communities
  • Large energy consumers (industries, hotels, shopping centers) for self-production
  • Infrastructure funds for co-investment in projects under development

Our method.

The development of a RES initiative passes through precise phases: site scouting, connection studies, environmental and landscape assessment, authorization procedures, executive design, construction and O&M (operation and maintenance).

We can enter at any phase of the process: from initial scouting to the purchase of ready-to-build projects. We co-invest with landowners when they want to remain involved in the cash flow, or we pay them out at project start when they prefer to monetize immediately.

Activity detail.

  • Ground-mounted, rooftop and industrial warehouse photovoltaic plants
  • Agrivoltaics (plants compatible with agricultural activity)
  • Wind plants (large and small)
  • Hydroelectric plants (mini-hydro)
  • Stand-alone and coupled BESS storage systems
  • Renewable energy communities
  • Custom PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements)
  • Complete authorization development (from scouting to RTB)
  • Co-investment with landowners
A well-built RES plant lives with the territory that hosts it, rather than imposing itself upon it.
